PT 12.6 includes a new Freeze Status Icon in the Edit window to show if tracks are frozen within a session. The Edit window now includes an activity indicator for the Task Manager.įreeze has become a favorite feature for me, freeing up computer resources and helping manage tracks. A new mode allows sending fully overlapped clips to a new or existing playlist. This makes it very fast and easy to audition playlists. One of the biggest new features is a brand-new plug-in format in Pro Tools that supports applying real-time processing on a per-clip basis. There are a number of very useful new features that provide improvements, particularly to workflow.
